This is my third year teaching at Graham Elementary School, and I am so excited to be a part of this great family! After graduating as valedictorian from Spring Garden School, I attended Jacksonville State University. While at JSU, I majored in elementary education and was president of Kappa Delta Pi. In 2009, I graduated summa cum laude, and have enjoyed spending the last nine years teaching and in administration.
My goal as an educator is to inspire my students to reach their fullest potentials while creating a safe, enjoyable environment where a deep love of learning thrives. In my classroom, we learn, we always try our best, and we have fun.
When I'm not in the classroom, I love to travel. Some people might call me a little crazy for taking a road trip and driving from Alabama to Acadia National Park in Maine, but for me, there's nothing that can compare to it. I also really enjoy spending time with family and friends, shopping, attending church, watching movies and learning new things. If it sparkles, is Disney or science-related, or makes me laugh, I love it.
I'm here for my students and their families. If you ever have any questions or ideas, please just let me know! I look forward to getting to know everyone and to working together throughout this school year -- it's going to be great!
